Flockturn
Herders' hamlet at the inland edge facing the Witnessfields; its flocks turn back at the Grey Line.
A handful of farmsteads and sheepfolds at the inland edge, where the fields thin towards the Witnessfields. Its herders graze up to the Grey Line and turn their flocks back there, and sell wool and mutton at the march-towns. Nobody from Flockturn crosses the markers, and nobody asks them to, though now and then a treasure-hunter with a pack and a hungry look asks the way to the old marker roads and walks on past them. Flockturn wishes such strangers luck and does not expect to see them again.
