Oldchannel

A Reedfolk settlement on reed islands beside Pellith, home to the pilot house that has held one channel longer than the town has stood. A few dozen households live there by pilotage, channel-mending, and fish. It is the house now asking Pellith's great houses to let it swear in its own name. Its pilots know where the wreckers hide on the shoals and say so only when they choose.
