Large circle of four or five hidden hedged clearings joined by watch-paths.
A circle of four or five hidden clearings a short walk apart, each ringed with cultivated thorn-hedge and woven deadwood and joined by watch-paths only its own people can read. A thousand or more Thorn Elves live there by coppicing, foraging, small grove-gardens, and hunting, and every adult among them keeps some share of the watch. It is a large circle by Thornbound measure, and like any circle it is heeded because it has kept its people alive.
