Lowgarden
Embassy households, including mixed Human-High Elf families, on the low terraces beside the Understorey Courts.
A village of a hundred or two on the low terraces beside the Understorey Courts, at the foot of the canopy on the basin-facing edge. Its households are tied to the embassies: High Elf hosts and gardeners, Human envoys' staff who have stayed, and the mixed Human-High Elf families whose children a house may take in or leave outside. It lives by lodging, feeding, and tending the people the great houses receive and seldom take higher, and by guiding the beast-hunters and envoys' sellswords who must not wander off the embassy road.
