The Lastwater Wells
The chain of defended wells on the outermost spurs of the Rimward Basins, the last water any Pact custodian answers for and the first that Glassbelt crossers reach, often in poor shape. See The Windscar.
The chain of defended wells on the outermost rim spurs, each a small walled post with its well, a cistern, and a handful of custodians and their kin. They are the last water any Pact custodian answers for, and the first that Glassbelt crossers reach, often in poor shape. Salvage crews and treasure-hunters bound for the glassed ruins out in the desert water here for the last time. The custodians cut a notch on the well-post for each one who goes out and a second for each who comes back, and the first row is always the longer. The southernmost watches the mouth of the Hanging Vale.
