Shortgreen

The camping ground on the Long Pan's green fringe after a good flood, the one place in the Basins where many kindreds pitch side by side without a stronghold between them. For a few weeks it holds more herds than anywhere else in the Windscar; then the fringe browns, and the ground is empty again until the next good year. With so many kindreds camped close, old feuds come out with the grass, and most years end with blood on the pan before the herds go home.
