The Chromatic Chord

A. A Short Chronology

Caeldon’s history divides into nine broad ages. They are periods, not categories: they overlap where history did, and no age belongs to one people. Each age is given with its span and followed by its main dated events in rough order of their beginnings, down to the medieval present of c. 1,350 CR. Dates are given before (BR) and after (CR) the Common Reckoning, and all of them are deliberately rough.
