The Fordside Compact

Lowbank's loose bond at Greyford among those who keep the crossing usable beyond the reach of the Bridge Hall's gate: Goblin side-ford families, Ogre burden crews, Wrought repair houses, Kobold underkeepers, salvage households, and the Kindreds. It has no hall and no lord, and its word holds only as far as its people stand together. See The Basins and the Marches.
