PHP
php-cooper-symfony
The Symfony integration of Cooper: bundle configuration and container parameters from a CASC document instead of config/packages/*.yaml, with Cooper reading the .env files.
Intention
It changes where the settings come from, not how services are built: service wiring, autowiring and routes stay Symfony’s. A ${NAME} is not read when the container is built — it becomes Symfony’s own %env(NAME)% placeholder, so no value from the build machine’s environment is ever written into the cache.
Example
#@version = 1.0
# config/config.casc
framework {
secret = ${APP_SECRET}
session.cookie_secure = "auto"
}
parameters {
app.admin_email = "admin@example.com"
app.page_size = !int(${PAGE_SIZE:20})
}Install
composer require joetjen/cooper-symfony
