No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and embeds no advertising or social-media trackers. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you see no cookie banner. Your chosen interface language is stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) and is never transmitted.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, your browser transmits technical data — including your IP address — to GitHub, which processes it to deliver the page and to keep the service secure. This processing is necessary for the site to work at all (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website). See GitHub’s Privacy Statement at https://docs.github.com/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-privacy-statement for details, including its data transfers to the USA.
Live data from package registries
The projects page requests public metadata — version numbers, star counts — from api.github.com, hex.pm, registry.npmjs.org and repo.packagist.org. Your browser contacts these services directly, so your IP address becomes visible to them. If a request fails, the numbers are simply not shown. No personal data is sent beyond what any HTTP request carries.
Contact by email
If you write to me, your message and address are processed solely to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and kept no longer than necessary.

Your rights
You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Schleswig-Holstein, the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz (ULD).
